So the top rack on my Kitchenaid dishwasher broke. The side rail basically has two metal tracks that are (were) welded together in 4 spots. That welding somehow gave loose, resulting in my top rack no longer being attached on the left side rail. I was looking at a $100 replacement part + a repair call (who knows what that would have cost; expensive because the whole dishwasher would have to be removed and disconnected just to replace the side rail). So figured I'd give this a shot instead and glue to the two metal rails together where they were once welded.Worked like a charm. Have only put it through one wash, but it held up fine. So when they say dishwasher safe, they must really mean it. Who knows if it will hold up over time, but even if it didn't, I could always just apply another round of glue.The only negatives with this product is that it's a bit liquidy. So if you apply it, then stand something up, small amounts will drip down. A more gel like solution may have worked better. Because of this drip, the top rack of my dishwasher slides in with a slight vibration (part of the track must have got tiny drips on it). But it's no big deal at all.Ultimately, given it saved me a repair that would have been hundreds of dollars, or even having to buy a whole new dishwasher, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
