I go through glue guns like crazy. My last one actually exploded in my hand so I decided I was going to get something more sturdy with a base. This one immediately caught my eye because of it's cool design, but I found it to be a comfortable, easy to use gun. It gets hot in just a few minutes and it really doesn't drip like the cheapo craft guns. It has dripped a tiny bit but nowhere near like the others. The base isn't weighted so it comes along when you pick up the gun, which is nice when you need to put it down quickly somewhere else. I later decided to stick it to my workbench with sticky nano tape and now it's nice and sturdy. Very happy with it.
