thank youI've used this exact identical item for years at my job. This latest box of glue sticks is different! They are more narrow than all previous glue sticks and won't feed through the glue gun because of the slight change in diameter!!!!! Unbelievable! I measured with a caliper and the new sticks are definitely more narrow than the previous sticks. I have a few sticks left from my previous stock and they all work fine, but the new box is unusable! Also, the old sticks are a full 10" long where the new box of sticks are only 9.75" long!!!! How disappointing that they are trying to cheat buyers with a smaller product at the same cost, and in doing so have made the glue sticks unusable in existing glue guns due to a more narrow diameter. I exchanged the narrow box thinking maybe it was a fluke, but the replacement box has the same disappointing issue. Booooo to the Arrow Glue Stick company!Not made in USA like listed, overpriced, and made in China.These Arrow "Hot Melt Glue Stix" are good for most general craft uses and are a decent overall value. These are full sized glue sticks (not for mini glue guns) that melt well on the "Low" setting of my glue gun.The sticks are a little more yellow looking than some other brands, but work well for my needs since the glue isn't seen on most of our projects.Recommended!CFHThis good is a little better than average. I've had no issues with so far.I love to make crafts.But I cannot find a long 10 inch that really has holding power.I do not know if it is the glue stick or my gun.After glue cools, you can literally pull item apart.Sad.Photo shows a retail bagged package, I received a box of loose sticks that are going to be hard to keep clean in my shop.Title of item on Amazon states that it weighs 5 pounds. Then in the features part of the same item it shows 4.4 pounds. I called the manufacturer and they say its really 10 pounds! I ordered it anyway. I weighed it upon arrival and its really 5.5 pounds. The manufactures is all mixed up. You really get moreThese glue sticks work quite well. They melt very liquid and adhere well. The only caveat is that you need to temporarily fix whatever it is you're gluing in place until the glue sets, because it's hot and runny :) That may be a function of the temp settings of my glue gun.Lots of sticks, good pricing for the amount of glue.Over half the sticks where broke in half the ones that are 10” long just tap them then they snap in half too .
